The prayer

A prayer I wrote for when you arestrugling to accept something:

The prayer

Thank you lord for the gift of life,
Thank you lord for the gift of fellowship.

I pray this day that you will help me walk the straight and narrow path,
That you would help me live my life for you, in every aspect,
And though I may not understand why you let certain things happen, that you would help me put all my trust in you,
knowing that you are in control and that whatever happens it is part of your master plan.

Help me have the faith of a true believer,
The faith of David,
Who even when facing a giant put his trust in you and won the battle.
And when we face our own giants,
Help us put all our trust in you,
Knowing you are the creator and sustainer of all life, and that through you all things are possible.

I pray that you use me to do your greater good,
For I am your servant, and you are my master.

And I will be obedient to your instruction knowing that all things work out in the end for those who trust you and are called according to your purpose.

Amen
